Blogging While Watching LOST: Confirmed Dead
Underwater camera. Dan’s flashback? Why was he so upset when watching the news about finding the plane? Did he know someone on board? For that matter, why was there an intact Oceanic airplane at the bottom of the ocean floor off the coast of Bali? We saw the plane break apart in mid-air before crashing on the island. Definitely not the same plane.
Well, there goes the argument for those people who tried to claim that no one could parachute from a helicopter, especially at that altitude.
George is a guy on the freighter? The island doesn’t like helicopters.
Vincent! Wet dog!
Locke and Ben don’t appear too comfortable with Hurley’s mention of the cabin. I don’t think he covered very well.
Thank you, Sawyer, for pointing out that Locke is just traipsing along with the man who shot him and left him for dead. “I would’ve been dead if I still had a kidney there.” I like the way they worked that in! It wasn’t for nothing! He should’ve taken his kidney back when Sawyer killed Cooper.
Miles said that Kate killed Naomi. Here’s a pat on the back for everyone who said that “tell my sister I love her” was really code for “bad stuff went down.” I wouldn’t have thought of that possibility myself. Although after three full seasons of LOST, I don’t know why I didn’t pick up on it.
Not just Dan’s flashback then. Miles, too. Quick, is Miles Storm an anagram for something? Or just sounds like maelstrom? Omigod, is Miles a ghostbuster? He is! Although he’s more like a cross between a ghostbuster and a graverobber.
Yoda. Haha. Yeah! Beat him down! I don’t think Sawyer listened to a word Locke said about not killing Ben in front of his daughter. I think he only stayed his hand because Hurley shook his head.
Is Dan a little bit crazy?
Jack just winked at Kate. It was a bit more obvious than the “secret blink code” people thought they used at the end of Season Two.
OMG. Jack just used the same technique as the Others. Of course, it wasn’t as impressive in the daylight without all the torches when Tom said, “Light ‘em up!” But still quite effective.
Polar bear. I was thinking it, facetiously, in my head before she said it. Umm, what the hell is going on? Charlotte was excavating a polar bear skeleton in Tunisia with the DHARMA Hydra emblem nearby? On the same day she was reading a newspaper headline about the wreckage of Flight 815? Maybe someone who followed TLE a bit more closely could leave a comment to let me know if Tunisia fit in somewhere.
Dan is a physicist. Charlotte seems a bit chipper.
Vincent with the transponder… for the win!
This guy obviously knows something’s up with the footage of the wreckage. Ah yes, a wedding ring. That was my guess when they had zoomed in on the pilot (Seth Norris, I should say) and his hand. He was supposed to be the pilot of Flight 815? Wasn’t expecting that.
Taller ghost Walt. LOL.
Ben shot her! He shot Charlotte! How did he get a gun? Good thing she was wearing Kevlar.
Frank. Frank is the would-be pilot. And they have a helicopter - intact.
Naomi was leading this covert mission… and Hurley’s “Oceanic” visitor from last week’s episode was briefing her on the mission. “There were no survivors.” So Ben was right. They do intend to exterminate everyone.
They’re looking for Ben! And they have an adult picture of him! He hasn’t left the island since he was a child, right?
Oh wow. He has a man on their ship. Who on the freighter belongs to Ben? Anyone we’ve seen before? Ooh!
